Connecting Columbus Industry
The CAGY currently has trackage rights from Columbus to West Point via the KCS segment now referred to as the Alabama Southern (ABS).
The CAGY provides service to Steel Dynamics, formerly Severstal, hauling steel coils. The ABS, AGR, LXVR and CAGY are owned by Genesee and Wyoming, a holding company for short-line railroads.
